Finally got my 5d (mk1)

Any its a great camera, and and in great nic for a used one.

The biggest thing is it will allow me more flexibility in my small studio garage where I have little room to move around.

it also means that I can always have 2 lens choice ready.

I did notice however that shooting at 1/200 I see the 2nd curtain on the exposure I never get this with the 40d, I have read on another forums that people say that elinchrom lights wont work at 1/200 but it appears to be down to the camera, not an issue anyway as i dont need to shoot at 1/200

Not sure if the synch speed on the 5D is 1/200 or 1/250? I'll try to find some specs.

It's 1/200 Ali, the same as the Mk II

Congrats on getting the 5D and going full frame..

I absolutely love the results full frame gives

yeah from the couple of quick snaps I like it, and for £699 used with 3 months warranty it didnt hurt the credit card to much, well a little.

I'm tempted by one of these at the moment as an upgrade from my Olympus E500... fortunately i don't have many Olly lenses so won't be too bad. I'm keeping an eye on the second hand market and saving my pennies!

I didnt upgrade as such i got it to use along side my 40d. Im planning to get into weddings more this year so needed a 2nd camera and the 5d is also better to use in my small studio space.
