almost finished...needs few more photos..
added more info about me and contact...
not sure if I need music in background - it is off now,
and possibly tab on top with logo needs to be smaller ? maybe more yellow ?

The logo tab covers up the picture which isn't good. Plus, it might be worth paying a graphic designer to design a simpler logo, or just using some distinctive text instead? Logos need to be slick, easy to reproduce (one or two colours) and simple so as not to detract.
Aside from that there seems to be a texture overlay on all the picture on the carousel. Was that intended?

logo was designed by a designer :) this yellowish tab is part of page not logo...it does go up when you go to sub pages - about me for instance,
it might be too big - tab, I can agree but some people like it.

texture overlay is indended. again, some like it some don't...can be switched off.

photos on main page might be small resoultion ad will change them once back home.

This sort of seems to me the equivalent of exhibiting your prints in a gallery, with a flap of textured plastic over the top. And then saying 'well if people want to see my photos properly, then they can lift up the plastic'. The reality is, people won't. They'll just go to the next website. IF your photos are meant to be seen with the texture overlay, then include it in the JPG. If they're not, then turn it off, but that's just me and what seems logical.
 
(Also the backwards and forwards arrows don't work for me in Safari.)

works on IE and chrome...

it wont work between photos - only between subpages like galleries, about me etc.
each gallery is loaded in to java so wont work if that is what you mean
