Hi, I have been hovering around various forums for some time whilst on the hunt for knowledge, especially when looking for answers to my own questions i wonder 'someone else must have asked somewhere... someone must have answered' finally.. i decided to join and give back the little things i have learnt and also to learn more.
I primarily want to find photo buddies where we can meet up, try out things and experiment, help each other grow... share equipment maybe? and most of all just have a blast.
I am very enthusiastic about photography.. a passion born from seeing beautiful images and also from terrible ones.. my first photo i took that i liked was from a camera phone (dont start), of a sunset.. i didnt know why i liked it. just did.
since im looking for photo buddies... is there anyone local to me? east london area that would be interested in meeting up, experimenting etc...
Im interested in portraiture but want to have a shot at everything (no pun intended). Off camera flash.. balancing ambient with daylight etc. i have been studying the strobist blog too.
Also.. i have a canon 600d and 17-55 f2.8 and 50mm f1.4, if i made the full frame jump id have to sell the 600d and 17-55 and get a 6d and use the 50mm til i can get the 24-70. i do love the 50mm, dont get me wrong.. but would i be better off saving so i can get the 24-70 f2.8 with the 6d, or have i just got an ich to get a full frame? I do get paid work now and then.. i could hire the 24-70 when i need it. Im out and about working on my portfolio in the mean time for on location portraits.
