Yes
I've had filters before and generally didn't like them :(
But after a discussion with a guy i know, apparently a polarisor? (cant spell) Would make my shots more colourful and more pleasing?

I have a 82mm filter fitment lens. Do you just screw them on like a uv filter? or is it different?

A CPL screws on the front like a normal UV filter, but can be rotated to give different effects. Polariser is one of the few effects that can't be fully simulated in photoshop, especially its ability to cut reflected light from windows, water and shiny surfaces. Makes blues and greens more pronounced.

Would yu say its a worthy purchase? I tend to photo cars and landscape. oh and the odd waterfall.

It'd help with reflections on the car, the skies on your landscape and reflections on the water.
