Yes
Do any of you guys/guyesses use any filters for motorsport? Other than a UV filter, of course! ;)

How did they come out weird? I found it to be better lol! In terms of general colours not being so "washed out," etc.

In the twilight, when the cars or bikes have their headlights on, you can use a star filter.

I will use a polariser if i want to kill some of the reflection on the windows to get a better view of the driver.

Good point. Not happened to me yet but I tend to shoot either trackdays or open cars on the odd occasions I do track stuff these days.

I keep meaning to buy a 67mm polariser for my 70-200 f4L to help cut down reflections on the windows.

Aside from that I use a none.

I use a Circular Polarizer on my 200 lens 'sometimes'. I say sometimes because although I notice the difference when I get home on the computer, I don't really know how to use and am not convinced I like it that much.

Given that we don't get that much striking sunlight in the UK I very rarely see it as an issue.

I have never used any filters (except UV) for motorsports, however after reading this I think I'll try a polarizer next time.

if you do a lot of panning shots, the effects of a polariser are reduced. If you go for the 3/4 frontal shot, you could get a benefit of polariser to cut down reflections, but beware wierdness on some windscreens.
