Filters for 17-40 L lens?

Hi all, just wondering what slide filters will best fit this lens? I have a cokin p series kit, but the edges of the filter holder are in the image. What size filters are you guys using on this lens? Or are screw on filters better?

Cokin P seems a bit small.
I actually have a Lee 4x6 clone (as a mount I did not really need a big brand). and slot in up to 3 filters !
