Hi all,
I usually shoot landscapes and I'm considering picking up some filters, probably a polarizer and an ND of some description.

Wondering what anybody uses and keeps with them for when theyre out and about?
Also is there any point picking up the cheapo filters on Ebay or is it better to just buy something better? If so which brand to look at?

Cheers in advance

I bought a few from eBay for my previous 'kit' lens, they were in red cases marked 'Filter Digital Filter'.

I bought the ND2, ND4, ND8 and C-PL filters for about 15 quid. I didn't find them too bad, obviously the glass used in these filters isn't the best either but since I only rarely used them I found them good enough considering the cost...

just bought a couple, CPL and graduated grey but not yet tried them out, I got a UV that was described as JYC PRO1-D which was GBP 10 for my 19-55 kit lens and that seems fine. For my previous camera I bought a CPL that was nearly 40 quid and used it once, so there's no way I'm repeating that experience :)
