Our Daughter has started to show a very keen interest in film, she is good too!.
Now we have a local place who processes 35mm , well they stopped 3 weeks ago!
So we need the following.
35mm D&P
120 roll D&P its c41 process
126 D&P
So any ideas?
Ideally on the cheap as she is a poor impoverished student and most of he film / cameras are out of date, so may be blank ets!

I am thinking of buying her a B&W dark room set up, what should I pay?
She is looking to part with her collection of polaroids to finance a dark room, what would you do?
Thanks in advance

I cant recommend NTPhotoworks.com (Nik and Trik) enough for processing, they're awesome and properly passionate about it

Thanks I will have a look, oh how I miss the local place we had 20 years ago!

Here's the developing sticky post with a bunch of suggestions - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/tutorials/film-developing-in-the-uk.99/ . There's a spreadsheet linked in there that will compare prices for various places for dev+scan (but not print). The cheapest dev/print for colour 35mm is ASDA, although not all stores do them and they might be stopping doing it in the rest real soon.

As far as the dark room goes, just to make sure (as it comes up quite often) - do you mean for proper wet printing? Because if you only mean developing, then you don't need a dark-room, just a dark bag. - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/tutorials/how-to-develop-your-first-b-w-film.114/

Thanks can't find any near me!.
The only people I used to know who could help out one has sadly died and the other apparently doesn't know what day it is, so sad as they could have taught her so much.

Don't mind travelling within reason

There's definitely one in Manchester and maybe Liverpool also.

Great to her your daughter has a passion for film!

I'm in Wigan and can help her develop B&W but not print unfortunately.

Thanks Its the printing I want her to see as I feel its right up her street, I did my City and Guilds 20 years ago and she has never done any formal training but is vastly more skilled than I am she just has a good eye.
Its just so difficult to support her properly with this so I feel a home dark room would be some good lessons for her as it opens up a new avenue in the world of photography.
I have spent countless hours driving her about photographing derelict buildings and Fun Fairs for her A level but she is now entered the world of film so costs are spiralling out of control!

b****r..I'm in Surrey
Might have been able to help with enlarger..
Thats often the case!
I gave all my stuff away when she was about 5 as you never consider that film would be so popular again and your daughter would be so interested in it.
