hello all, i'm sat in india with a dilemma on my hands... what film should i use? i've bought a little olympus mju compact to stuff in my motorbike jacket for snapshots and have been using sensia 200 so far. now i have the choice of sensia 100, sensia 200 or kodak elite chrome 100. hmmmmnn, out of the three i have used only sensia 200 before and found it good, i'm guessing that the 100 will just be finer grain but i have no idea about the kodak.

will check back in a few hours/tomorrow. cheers guys :)

ps. india is hilarious, absolute chaos driving here. they have a complete disregard for human life and only stop for cows!

no reply :(

i shall buy some of each then and hope for the best :D

Stick with the sensia 200, I doubt you'll see much difference and the extra speed could be handy.

Can't help with this one Noah, let us know which you prefer.;)

I can't help with this one either, but I would suggest you stick to what you know, better to be safe than sorry

Sounds like fun driving :D

Depending on light I'd take 100 sensia, however can you not get *any* print film, the latitude of slide films is very small and unless the meter in your compact is spot on you'll end up disapointed.

yeah i know what you mean about the metering and latitude but people i have spoken to say that this compact is usually trustworthy. i do take 90% of the pics with the d70 also.

kinda a bit of an experiment and fun to shoot film again so i won't be too dissapointed if they don't work, thanks for the advice :)

Anything Fuji. No contest. Provia, Velvia or Sensia depending on what you want to end up with.
Then scan the negs professionally using a proper neg-scanner - not a flatbed with a cobby attachment.
