Hi
I'm in need of help.
A client has a site with wordpress that they are trying to optimise for google searches.
They say that google flags up every time that my images are too large and can be optimised by reducing them by x percentage.
My question is how to reduce them?
When saving to jpeg LR gives me options to set
1. Quality/alt file size
2. Image sizing (re-size to fit (dimensions etc) and
3. pixels per inch (I usually set 72)
4. Screen sharpen
I've submitted various trial images with different settings but the client is saying they are still a long way off google optimisation, anywhere between 40 and 60% further reduction. The problem is the client wants them to look reasonably good. i.e. image not degraded too much.
Any suggestions?
