[/B][/B]Well, it was lovely surprise to win the abstracts round, made my Sunday –I’d had a rubbish day and it completely cheered me up!:D

So on to this weeks challenge…and the subject is…

CHILDHOOD

Now it can be the obvious i.e. children or it can be something less so. For example something or a maybe place that reminds you of your childhood or even just something that reminds you of the spirit of childhood.

Although its perfectly acceptable for the image to contain children I’ll be looking for something more than my usual photos of the kids sitting down – something that captures the essence of childhood ( :lol:- sounds like a weird fragrance).

Images should be posted from 8pm Sunday 15th to 8pm Wednesday 18th.

Yup thats a wide brief and quite a challenge :)

Pity the kids have grown up :) Mind you I'm in my second childhood :D
 
I must remember to enter one of these! I keep missing the deadlines! I'll definitely try to have a go at this one, should be quite a challenge.
 
I'll have a go at this again ... it'll be quite a challenge but I should be able to come up with something, seeing as I never really grew up :D

Can we post images previously shown on TP, I know that the point is to encourage shootng a new image, but as Ive not had chance to shoot anything new

Still got 2days!....(besides if they are Cuba I'd just be jealous;). You can post them if you like but I don't think they can win? Although at this rate it might be the only entry:lol::lol:
 
I have on... I can't get at it and post till later though... It's not a good photo per se...

Ok, this shot reminds me of many an occasion in my childhood where I'd be found just like my cuddly with a book and my cuddly for that matter. So this is a memory of childhood.

Anna, I have struggled to come up with ideas this week and to top it all no time to experiment. So, I'm sorry there is nothing from me this week.

drumroll....and the winners are;

In third place for having the guts to post a picture of himself sucking his thumb and cuddling a giant rabbit on the internet is fabs, a lovely crisp shot there. Nice bunny.


In second place is scubataff. Love the cheeky face and this will strike a chord with all parents.


And in first place with the empty swing is BeHappy. Love the great use of depth of field, colours, composition and slighly eerie feel to this.

Oooh Ive just been prodded to look here! Id forgotten and never thought my swing would be chosen! Thought Fabs very brave picture would win on pure nerve alone!!
