North England Fields of flowers, Merseyside

Hi everyone,

I live in Liverpool but am new to the area and wondered if there are any beautiful fields on flowers (e.g. sunflowers, poppies etc) around the county?

Sadly, it seems you may have arrived in the area just a little too late as the National Wildflower Centre in Liverpool closed down at the start of the year.

I don't know if this project they were working on has survived (I've not got time to look just now), but you might find out via the following website? http://www.taleof2cities.org.uk/

Edit: It seems you might be in luck? https://BANNED/To2CWildflowers You might have to be quick though, as they don't stay in bloom forever.
