I was looking into field monitors and then stumbled accoss the 'dslr controller' app for android, so went and bought the 8" Lenovo yoga tablet and installed the app and mounted it to my gimbal using a tablet microphone mount, the world it opened up was far more than I could ever expected, I've full live view with quick access to all my settings and camera controls, full HD 1080 playback of all my recorded footage, stop start recoding from the touch screen, and focus peaking etc.
