Looking to purchase my first film camera with lens and found these guys - best deal for me but are they good? :)
 
:DThats great, I honestly cant wait until payday - I see on their site they have a Nikon Fm2n and a 50mm 1.8 series E lens (will that work on the camera?) and it's the best I could find.

I was going to go for a pentax me super, but I cant find a reasonably priced one and cant afford to buy a faulty one from ebay. Heck, maybe I could buy both...
 
Given the choice between an FM2N and an ME Super, I'd go for the Nikon every time. The ME Super is a respectable camera but the FM2N is in a class above, frankly.

ME Super was a very innovative design but can be idiosyncartic and is battery and electronics reliant.

The FM2N is a Nikon mechanical classic and very robust. The Series E lens will work fine on it. The E series were a budget lens offering from Nikon, optically good but less robust mechanically than standard Nikkor's.
