Ferrari lose their appeal

Thats my thoughts aswell, when you see the amount of people in a Ferrari garage its overkill IMO, especially considering teams spending far far less are doing better this season

I think they will stay but put up a fight about it

At least this seems to have put paid to the theory that Ferrari have the FIA in their pocket. :D

Not really, shows that soon as a decision is made that they dont agree with they throw there toys out the pram

Im confused with the decision?

As I understand it the rules next year will be:
a: You can spend as much as you like, but must use standard engine, gearbox and transmission

b: Can only spend £40Million (not including wages, PR etc) and have technical freedom

so whats different now?

Ferrari slams quality of new teams

Ferrari has blasted the quality of entries being lined up to join Formula 1 next year - even going so far as saying the sport would perhaps be better off rebranded as 'Formula GP3'

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/75443

sound's like they are sore loser's as the rules are not going in ferrari's way for a change

definately, one name I think everyone knows is Lola for one, Pro Drive for another so its clearly a swipe to "try" and get the FIA to backdown. Hopefully IMO Max doesn't either

the rules also say if you sign up for the cap you get unlimited testing aswell next year, if you dont, its none, which is fair IMO

the way I see it is spead 100m out of the box, not in the cap, decent car, win races but given that teams who are in the cap will then be able to test and develop cars quicker they will soon catch up so it will be a level playing field again

it goes to show as well that two teams (Force India and Brawn GP) will go by the cap and they (Brawn) seem to be showing now just what it can do
