Yes
I'm giving my tripod a service / clean but have run into issues reattaching a leg section. I'm following the instructions here https://feisol.eu/manuals/FEISOL_Manual_Care_And_Maintenance_For_Tripods.pdf but can only get the twist lock collar to about halfway up the thread before it fully tightens leaving the rest of the thread exposed.

I'm obviously being mechanically challenged but if anyone can offer advice please that would be gratefully appreciate. The usual utterance of Anglo Saxon doesn't appear to be working!!

Be sure tofeed all but the last compression ring (with the edge) into the tube of the topsection before screwing on the twist lock cover. If they are not inserted, thecover will not screw on all the way and the twistlock will fail.

Did you take care to follow that?

I'll have another go tomorrow but I struggled to achieve this. Will I need to align the gap on all the C rings based on their instructions?
I've not had to do the procedure but my gut feeling is no, just make sure that all except the last one are fully inserted into the tube.

Many thanks I'll give it a go when I've got more time tomorrow

If the legs are anti-twist they need to be aligned; there's a ridge and mating groove that prevents the tubes from twisting. And most are anti-twist these days.

Success !! It's amazing what some decent light can do and taking a break from a problem.
The issue I was having was getting the large C ring into the tube over a lip, which I think the other rings then butt against. Looking at this ring again I noticed a couple of small circular lugs, pushing these into the holes on the leg kept it in place and flat enough to then easily slide into the upper tube.

Many thanks for the help. It's much appreciated

Those circular lugs and the holes they go into is what creates the anti-twist feature; they prevent the leg and bushing from rotating... there will be a ridge in the larger tube that fits into the gap in the bushing.
