Feeling stupid with Lightroom 3....

Hello,

I feel stupid because I don't manage to do something simple. I want to move a folder to an other location but to keep the photo in at the same place in the catalogue.

At the moment I move and reimport and he made a bit of a mess and loose process already done.

I'm not sure what you mean by "keep the photo in the same place in the catalogue". Clearly if you've moved it, it can't be in the same place.

If you move outside of lightroom, you will note a question mark "?" against the folder in the Lightroom catalogue. Right-click on the question mark and select "find missing folder". Navigate to the folder and Lightroom re-locates the folder and retains all prior processes.

You can also move the folder from within lightroom. Just select the folder in lightroom and drag it to wherever you want to move it to. It will automatically update the catalogue for you so you dont have to find and reassociate the files again.

Both tecnique works, specially the second one, really easy I like it.
