3 compl.aints against me at work

the first two i can live with.

1. singing while at work.
2. walking into retails area of the shop.

fair enough, i was happy so i was singing. i forgot you arnt allowed to be happy, although i can live with it. and walking into the retail area of the shop, when it was closed... ok well i have done that through boredom, but claire seemed to take delight in reporting these to me boss. she doesnt like me because i stood up for myself whoch embarrassed her in front of her mangers she is the boss of.

the 3rd complaint made me mad though. that was a sexual harrassment complain. basically this bitchy ticket sales girl complained because i told her to re-fasten her button on her top as you could see her bra, i told her thati could see her bra so she better cover it up ** a boss came. now this happened a month ago, and last week she decides to report it, and her best friend, the snotty little stuck up photography student girl, backed her up and said i had asked her to pose nude for me!!!! **** shes short and fat and not good looking..... and i wouldnt do anything with her let alone propose it grrr its like the whole place is against me. every day i go in its somethign else, and before that getting accusedf of stealing *** i was set up by a snivling weasel.

ok there i have let it all out now. that is why i HATE my work. it seems if you dont like someone there, you try to get the mfired in the worst way possible. i am now banned from working on the ride Zipper dipper, *** those two girls have refused to work in there if im there, *** they feel threatened by me?????????

Just out of interest, how old are they? If they are not that old, perhaps try and get in touch with their parents? I see the predicament you are in, and so taking a mature approach may be the way forward? I don't know. Just a though. :(

Sounds to me like you or the girls need to make a sharp exit!!! People get hurt when things like sexual harrasement is accused.

Sorry, but I would find it very difficult to return to a workplace where people suspected me of being a pervert, rightly or wrongly!!!

Leave dude. I'm not saying you've done anything wrong, but to be honest you can find a better place to work at without having that kind of 'ish to deal with.
 
im job hunting as i speak lol. i have had enough of th lot of them i really have.

Trouble is if you leave without sorting this out it will always hang over you. Get hold of the area manager and have it sorted or sit down with your boss and discuss the situation. Say you feel like they are pressuring you to leave, constructive dismissal, and this is causing you emotional distress etc.

Good luck and chin up, the worst thing you can do is retaliate IMHO.

Also make sure you write down exactly what is happening and what your version of the events were, otherwise you may get sucked into an argument or go off at a tangent. Stick to the facts only and try and take any emotion out of the process. Not easy mate but for your own peace of mind it's worth it :thumbs:
 
You can buy a little mp3 player that records very cheaply, use it when you are talking to them or others you suspect may be trying it on.
 
Always communicate over email and keep all the emails.

Speak to HR and ask for advise on the situation. Best bet would be to put together an email with what is being said about you, what happened in your eyes and how this is affecting your work. Mention that you feel you are being bullied and this is making you depressed which is affecting your home life.

Dont mention the accusation that they said you asked her to pose nude, simply mention that whilst you dont believe you did anything wrong by pointing out that a colleague was violating the dress code (check to see if your dress code contains anything on this as most companies say something about "appropriate dress and not much skin showing") you can understand how it would be persieved differently but feel that the situation is being taken out of context.

I had thought of this last night. get your own back, and try and record them admiting it was a lie.
 
Sh*t - not a good situation this one.

If it was me, I would deffo get the high ranks in .... the label of sexual harassment is not one you want. Get the directors / managers in and tell them exactly what has happened. Also take someone else with you who will sit quietly - but can minute the whole meeting.

I disagree with that bit, if you think you are in the right, never give them a lever to use against you.
 
Oh dear ash,you are going through a bad spell.
My opinion is, as has already been suggested, do not leave before it has been sorted, if you leave it will look like you are running away from it.
Worst case scenario is one or both of them might take absence from work as long as you are there, go and find a smart lawyer and claim their feelings have been hurt.
Sort it now!!.
 
is it possible ashers, that you may sometimes rub people up the wrong way?
 
Must have gone on another bender, 17 mins past 1 since last on the forum, he might show in the early hours.
 
i didnt go on a BENDER but i have made my mind up to change my job. going to apply for a new jobs tomorrow.

I agree with Magpieant, try and get it sorted, and always have a witness to any conversations, even if it is only a recording! Chin up! It will get better:)
