Fastest ever delivery?

This Monday evening I ordered a CRX > L Mount adapter from Kamerstore in Tampere, Finland. The tracking record shows that they posted it to me around 4pm the following day, Tuesday. The parcel passed through four airports in four countries and arrived just 10 minutes after the anticipated delivery time of 2:50pm yesterday, around 23 hours in transit. The 10 minute delay was caused by a local route used by HGVs being closed causing a bottleneck in a nearby town. I had been held up by it on Monday.

How can UPS can do this when it takes the French postal service 5 days to deliver a parcel sent from 60km away?

Today I ordered a couple of Casio Edifice watch straps from a seller in Rotterdam.... Delivery scheduled for tomorrow in the UK.....

DHL received the package a 18.06 UK time.... tracking currently showing it at Brussels.... delivery should be in under 24 hours

I bought a couple of Casio Edifice Red Bull edition watches that came with resin straps.... one of the straps broke when I was away on holiday so I've decided to get the correct metal straps for them.....both the straps I wanted show as no longer available and the place I ordered from was the only one that had any in stock!!!

Impressive, especially considering the multiple countries.

I have ordered from Amazon in the past at around 4pm and had it delivered the following morning in Arran, which I thought was quite the miracle considering they have to get the ferry across which usually have to be booked in advance (I'm guessing they have block booked in advance).
