Hey,
Am in a need of fast Nikon Zoom/prime lens- wider than 50 and ideally wider than 35mm
Need it for Thursday evening.
Will put it on my insurance so will be insured! - can insure up to £1500 ;
anyone London based could help ?
Need it for Thursday evening/night.
Can collect tomorrow afternoon/evening or on Thursday
Can bring back on Friday morning.

Anyone being able to help ?

if nothing works out, will be able to use 24-85 but it is 3.5 and not too sharp...
its a gig/concert hence fast lens needed - and sharp(ish)

I can vouch for lenses for hire. They do have a service (that I haven't used) that allows you to be sorted out mighty fast with a lens. It just involves you giving them a ring and telling them whats up.

They currently have a 70-200 F/2.8 in stock, thats what i'd recommend.
 
Guys,
I have used lensesforhire on numerous occasions but am unable to do it this time.
Am leaving London for few days on Friday afternoon/evening am not coming back until next weekend so hiring lens is not good for me.not this time ...need lens for too short period of time to justify the cost.
Managed to borrow lens for a day or two in past from a member from here.

Managed to get lens from person I know and will be returning it tomorrow night after gig.
So all in all success ;)
