"Its not what you know, its who you know."
Well it seems that saying is more relevant than ever. It seems I might have a fashion shoot sorted in a few months.
Where I work (6th form college), the media department which I work very closely with have studio lighting, backdrops etc and have kindly agreed that I can use them as I wish. And yesterday, by pure chance (Through Miss McT) I met a fashion designer who is looking for a photographer to take some shots for her fashion portfolio. So if everything goes well, I have my first ever fashion shoot and im very excited by the idea.
So has anyone done much fashion work? Any advice? Initially I was thinking purely studio type shots, but im wondering if its worth trying some location type shots as well (Within the confines of the victorian college and arts centre) Also does anyone know of any good guides, tutorials or case studies on this subject?
