Any e620 users of raw out there who use iPhoto to organise their stuff?

iPhoto won't read my orf's but does read my e410's orfs. Now I thought niavely that all orf raw files were the same but apparantly not. Being nelatively new to raw, I don't see any plugins or codecs to get iphoto or indeed LR2 to actually see my raws anymore.

I'm back to shooting in jpeg for now which I dont want to do on my brnad new camera, I want to get the best from my images.

Any help from anyone in the same boat, or anyone with some expert raw codec knowledge would be greatly appreciated from this noob!

You can still shoot raw and then use Olympus Master to convert them all to tiff format. The tiff can then be edited in LR2 and I assume iPhoto.
It's an additional step in your workflow but it means you don't become limited to ooc jpgs.

Hi EffJay,

Adobe's camera raw has been updated. The beta has been available since at least June and full release happened fairly recently. If what you mean it now included compatibility with the E-620.

I convert ORF to DNGs and then process that way in Photoshop etc..
