o.k
me & aussieD40x intend going to bradgate park tommorow ,it's many years since i last went and i wondered are the deer in any 1 particular part of the part or can they be found anywhere??

also any part worth a visit more than others ??

many thanks in advance and there may be a cash prize for the first to answer ..but then they might not be.

I don't know where the deer will be, and dont know which bit is best to visit

I dont think that helps much but I was the 1st to answer . . . I'll take a cheque or cash

They are all over the park, but if it's busy they tend to stick to the areas where visitors cannot get. I've found getting there around dawn when it is quiet gives some good oppertunities. Try around the ruins and on the higher ground.

seriously, its pretty close but I avoid the park since they've charged extortionate amounts for car parking. If you fancy somewhere different to go in the area there is public access to some of the hill tops in the area: Beacon Hill (pay & display carparks at the top & bottom of the hill BUT free if you park in Deans Lane to the north and walk through), there's the rocks at the west end of Markfield and there's Warren Hills to the south of Mount St Bernard Abbey (on the north east side of Coalville)

Gah, I am going tomoro too, look for the n00b with her 400D and the other half :D

howdo betty

watch out for a daftbugga ( with D80 )

and an australian (sp) with a D40x and digeridoo

hey wookie i know about car park charges it's the same at beacon hill .

i did think about booking a week in the monastry while i'm there in the hope of regaining my sanity but realised i would need a lot longer than a week .:cuckoo:

I've already been booked to charge around the country doing family stuff (related family, not the competition entry) so I can't pop over to say hello. Have a good day anyway, looks like weather will be fine for you.
