Hi,

I am travelling back upto Glencoe in May and was there last year and got some good shots of Stob Dearg/Buchaille Etive Mor but wanted to go back to capture the Falls of Coupall. This location is the iconic shot of the Buchaille and appreciate that it has been shot to death.... but not by me! Does anybody have the 6 figure grid reference for this location? I am sure there will be plenty of tripod marks for me to put mine in but the location is not marked on the OS map.

Thanks for any help

Mal

Looking on google maps I would say:
Car park 56.647761, -4.865733
Tripod spot 56.647792, -4.866851 approximately

You should be able to get grid reference from that.

Thanks Marie, much appreciated, it looks like it will be GR NN 243543.

Just to add, I went up at the weekend, and there was not enough water to make the standard composition work on Saturday. Maybe something else worth considering when planning your trip.
There's plenty of other compositions to work in though in that neck of the woods

Thanks Matty, Its really a hillwalking trip with me grabbing some shots when I can so I am not sure if I want it to rain or not.

Thanks again.
