I was able to use a different camera today It was only to try the same lens that I want to buy, but is it wrong to fall in love with a camera thats forbidden within 5 minutes of using it?
It is perfect for me to hold, feels great and balances the lens to perfection, so why does it have to be so far out of reach financially :'(

i fall in love with cameras iv never SEEN!!!! lol.. dont be ashamed.. its natural..

i bet its a 5D..

You should stay away from snakes and apples...
Shout 3 Hail Mary's, cross you're fingers and buy a black cat....and everything should be okay

If it starts with a 'C' it's OK to fall in love! If it starts with an 'N' wash your mouth out! :D

 Of course it begins with a C, how could anyone think otherwise!
Canon Bob has got it right, it just felt so perfect as well, I wonder whats the likelyhood of Canon bringing out a Mk4 and the price of the Mk3 dropping drastically to a low 3 figure sum as everyone upgrades  not a lot I reckon :'(

By the time you've sold everything to fund it, it's going to look a bit sad with a nifty on it.:D

Worse than that, it would not even have a nifty to go on it

I'm glad its not just me though, one day if I save and save really hard I may be able to get one, until then I just need to get that black cat

You could consider an older 1d? Still the same size, still the same balance, just a lot cheaper!

I did that with a 1ds MKII and I have to admit it is superb. Takes some getting used to because the menus and setup is different to the 5D but the autofocus is unbelievable. I was taking pics of our stepdaughter on her swing yesterday and it was just nailing them. No way could the 5D have coped with that.

Go on, you know you want to! :)

I know the feeling!

I'm currently drooling over a new HP desktop pc. Spec includes 1tb hd, 4gb ram etc!

:D

There's no money tree, but there is plenty of muck in the rhubarb triangle, and where there's muck, there's......
Next door would have been be handy, could've let you have a fiddle with some crusty old film cameras that flatten dslr's....
I can laugh but there's no difference between mk3 lust and film camera lust, eee it's like being a teenager again but with guilt :shake:
