Fake sandisk SDHC card?

Hi, i ordered an 8GB Sandisk HD VIDEO SDHC card from picstop

I ordered a class 6 but they sent a class 10, but something is telling me that its a fake as it only has silver writing and not holographic.

It looks exactly the same as my class 6 card.

Looks fairly genuine but you never know these days. Might be worth trying to get in contact with SanDisk and quoting the serial number on the back of the card?

and contact SanDisk, they have to fight so many counterfeiters that they will no doubt be more than happy to verify whether yours is real or not.

bought the very same card from jessops yesterday,and everything is identical to mine,so probably is genuine..but you never know...

Its the 2nd time I've ordered a 20mbs card and got a 30mbs :|

I believe the better fakes could probably emulate that information quite easily, the only real way is to use a diagnostic tool to verify or contact the manufacturer re: serial number.

I got an identical card recently from 'mymemory', but it was an upgrade from what I paid for and seems fine.

A friend recently had a problem with one he bought from a company which dealt through Amazon which was confirmed fake by Sandisk.

Sounds like that on balance of probabilities you should be OK!
