facebook rights grab?

I'm not (and never will be) a facebook user. But I thought that their attempted T&C rights grab had been abandonned.

However, I've just read this article:

Which implies that the nice people at fb have retained their copyright landgrab.

This has potential implications for lots of people on here, so I thought I would just raise the issue and then throw it open to ridicule/discussion/rants/etc.


So, over to you...
 
I got the impression they'd backed off recently although I may well be wrong?
I certainly don't have any photos on there and only subscribed to see what it was all about anyway. I guess facebook isn't really for me.
 
no-one asked me to vote. niceone facebook. simple solution, dont post pictures on FB
 
The voting closed yesterday I believe. I've about had it with Facebook anyway, so I'll be leaving I think. All my friends there are people I work with or are in regular contact with, so no loss :shrug:
 
I have just deleted all mine. I tried to upload some last year, but their system kept crashing on me, so their wasn't anything decent on anyway!

EVERY FACE BOOK USER WAS ASKED.

IT CAME UP AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE BUT YOU HAD TO CLICK ON IT TO READ. I EXPECT THOUSANDS JUST DELETED IT.

ONLY 30% OF USERS VOTED.

I LOVE FACEBOOK BUT NONE OF THE PICS ON THERE WOULD INTEREST ANYONE JUST SNAPS.
