Found this through another photography forum.

Someone seems to be stealing images, applying their own watermark and then posting them on their various Facebook pages:

Tens of thousands of images there from a variety of sources, it seems.

If you find any of your images, be sure to report this guy!

They don't even need to be yours to report them. He openly admits that they're images he's uploaded without the copyright holder's permission.

Reported the page, and I also commented on the page, and was deleted and blocked within 30 seconds hopefully he will get so bombarded with comment that he cannot delete and block fast enough ;) shared my disgust on facebook and twitter

isnt it just a load of images collated from the web, he's saying they are not his ?

its a good source of insperation.

albeit the watermark is a bit too much !

Not it's not its breaching dozens of photographers copyrights that will ultimately lead people to his website because of the watermark, it's disgusting is what it is, and I'd expect a photography industry professional to be a little more understanding of how disgusting this really is

If you want to share others photo's for inspiration then share links to there work or get there permission to share the images

All I can see is fluffy kitten and over-shopped images, some of them have been doing the rounds online for years ...

Most people have never learned that one of the main aims in life is to enjoy it.

Samuel Butler

As Matthew intimated, said character has got hold of images and applied his own watermark.
At best that's disingenuous, but it's been stated that some had their original watermarks removed and replaced with his.

@OP, you might want to hang fire on the first link being associated with the FB account.
No mention of FB on his site nor similar type of shots - seems to be in a different sphere.
Also, the addition of ArtGrafik (another unrelated site) to the name only serves to further vindicate both parties, and this being someone else.

That's the way I see it too.

Well, I can confirm (in as much as a reply to my email) the linked website has nothing to do with the FaceAche character in question.

This is the third email of this kind I received in the past 48 hours but finally, with this link, you made everything clear!

No, I'm not 'your man' and unfortunately for me, I share with him the same name and surname!
I don't even have a facebook account...

Can't really help you pal, but I do hope you can take his stuff down asap.

Further update.....
Just this morning I received another reply from Alessandro, with a link to his website.
He asked if I/we could pass it around.
Not entirely sure how it's going to work other than if someone has a FB account, and can do something with it in there or get it to FB themselves.

Anyway, here's the link - http://alessandropinna.net/?page_id=172
