I'd be happy if someone gave me a tenner for that and collected it too
Always happy to save a trip up the dump

you would have you got one?
cleaned up in reasonable working order there £60+ all day :)
A really good one can go for up to £100

You would have to be barmy to pay a ton for one of those old machines.
Still you're happy with it so a tenner well spent.

its all the retro hipsters that love them tapes and records yep i am very happy with it
its sat in my garage on the shelf tuned in to a few radio stations and its banging :)

I sold two tape players (TEAC - part of the 500 system) and got over £100 for each.

I keep thinking now is the time to sell my cassette collection. but I am too lazy to list them :p

Slightly off topic but I found an old Sony Walkman in a drawer the other day which I was going to put in the Charity shop bag, but had a look on Ebay - anything from £100 to £300 !
I've not used facebook to sell anything but am about to list a sofa - I assume it's much the same as ebay but without paypal ?

I use a desktop computer at home... I need a laptop when I cover pro football to do a quick edit of JPGS and send out to papers... using facebook marketplace I found a guy who does refurbs from his house and bought a dell lattitude e7440 14 inch.. had it over a yr now for less than 200 quid and its absoloutly perfect for my needs.. I liked the fact that i could actually go to his house meet face to face and buy... less chance of getting ripped off when the seller knows you can be knocking on his door next day... all in all a good experience... viva la facebook :)

Ive still got my Nakamichi car head unit here. Wasn’t hopeful that there would ever be a resurgence of cassette but there may still be time!
