Facebook app video

So I can't play videos on the win 8.1 facebook app,if I go to facebook in Chrome or any other browser then they play fine!
Any ideas? Googled the problem but could't find any answers.

I think the app is a big pile of rubbish. Much better to use a browser. It works very well with Microsodt Edge.

Well I quite like the app and it should work! Also can't use Edge as I havn't got the Win 10 upgrade app yet!!
