Yes
So I would be more than happy if Webber won, or if Hamilton managed to do it. But I wouldn't be happy if Alonso won, considering the whole team orders malarkey, and I don't like Vettel, who is on pole.

So it will be interesting to see what happens.

Also, did anyone see Hamilton take out the bollard with the camera in? He wasn't going fast, but hit it perfectly on the nose cone of his car which looks awesome.

Should start a bet on how many times that Hamilton bollard shot is going to be shown over the next few days.

Ha, as I type that they showed it again. I make that at least 4 times already.

Oh bugga.... I'm a member of the ABA (anyone but Alonso) team, and now it looks very good for him..... :bang:

I'll bet my mortgage on there being more replays of that than there will be overtaking moves in the race!

No bet.

Overtaking? What's that?

I'm a HUGE Alonso fan so sorry people but i'm supporting him tomorrow. I'll be happy if Webber wins too though.

I don't like Hamilton, I took an instant dislike to him but I support Button. I'm more of a driver supporter than a specific team supporter.

Another team ABA member here.

Of the others, I would prefer to see Hamilton take the WDC but would be happy for Webber to lift it just to see Alonso's face when he saw someone else with it.

Yeah also backing Webber on this one, with being 2nd driver and having to surrender superior parts to Vettel etc. I would love Hamilton to snatch it if not Webber.

Infact I'd rather anyone won other than Ferrari. F1, the pinnacle of motorsport and with Ferrari's historic reputation, team orders doesnt do it for me.

I'd rather watch half a race with Red Bulls taking each other off the track, than an organised Ferrari one-two.

I do think however, Abu Dhabi is the most visually stunning circuit bar none.

I am a Mclaren fan always have been, but i just dont like Alonso at all (even when he was at Mclaren)

I would like to see Webber take the title this year.... just anyone but Alonso..

Cant wait for the race tomorrow it sure will be exciting.

Whoo hoo.... Team ABA wins! There is a God after all.....

Alonso didn't win. RESULT

And he's again shown what a plonker he is. There is no way he could expect Petrov to give way.

I felt a bit sorry for Alonso (snigger)

I'm going to cut off the tiny bit of me that has any sympathy for Alonso - my little toenails!

Congratulations to RBR on the title double and to SV on his first WDC. And to McLaren for relegating Ferrari to 3rd in the WCC.

Fernando.......... Petrov.....is........ faster than you!

Seriously what a muppet - to gesticulate like that to Petrov at the end I assume for "holding him up." Well in that case, overtake? It's called racing?

Likewise, never liked him to be honest.

Glad he didn't win aswell, the whole team orders thing can lie now and not be brought up (if he won by less than 7 points)

and for him to have a go at Petrov after the race is a joke, happy to blame anyone apart from himself or even his team who with poor decisions threw it away

Nice to see russian hand gestures are the same as ours

Much as I hate to say it Alonso did have much more grace in the post race interviews.

The hand gesturing was just frustration.

I'm sad for MW though, this might have been his last, best, chance.

Still roll on 2011:)

Being in Germany I'm sad that Hamilton didn't do better, but there was no way he was going to make up 10 seconds in two laps...

Who was it that lost the bits off his Lotus in the final laps - you should have heard the German TV commentators: "Zey must tell Vettel, Zis could be a disaster!!!" - "Calm down Hans; he's got eyes hasn't he?" - "Ja, but LooK! It's on ze track!!!"

...and on and on... *note* Cod-German added for entertainment purposes...

The locals are happy though - insufferably smug gits that they are...:suspect:

Quite a surprising result in the end. I am away at the minute, and ended up watching the final 2 thirds of the race in a bar in Madeira, with no real idea what had happened at the start of the race. I am still not sure what happened to Webber and Alonso. I suppose it just goes to show that its not over until its over. Would have preferred Webber to win over Vettel, and am just glad that it wasn't Alonso.

 Thanks, great montage and great soundtrack... cant wait till the next season now.

Frustration at what?
Being unable to overtake?
Being outwitted?
Being outclassed?

It's been a great season but the last race was a bit of anti-climax for me, I would have been happy with Hamilton becoming world champion but really wasn't fussed about the others. Vettel is certainly fast but there's something about him I don't like, Alonso is a great driver but I really can't stand him.

Next season Webber will have '2' emblazoned on his car just to add salt to the wound.

I would have liked to have seen Webber win, to do so well while so obviously not having the full backing of his team, and the hinderance of Vettel taking him out earlier in the season I think he had the more impressive season. Vettel while very fast as said above is just not a good enough driver to be a world champion IMHO, he can drive fast but is lacking in traffic shows little strategic thinking and is just not that great a driver. I can;t see Webber with a '2' on his car, that would suggest he would be with red bull again and after this season I wouldn't stay there in his shoes.

*******s, both webber and vettel had no team priority and both were there to win the championship.....

webbers race contoller made a bad decision

erm if there was no team priority why were they giving newer 'better' parts to Vettel while Webber was putting in faster times. Webber was never going to do well at from the moment he arrived, he just wasn't 'on it' this weekend, I doubt his race controller had anything to do with it.

There was no team orders between the two of them but there was definitely a team priority.

The 2010 F1 season has been the best I've followed for many a year. Can't remember when we went into the final race with so many drivers the potential overall champ. I'm in the ABA camp but to be honest thats because of the '... is faster than you' comment. Alonso doesn't do himself any favours by showing his feels so publicly.

Roll on 2011 a clean sheet for everyone. Now Webber has shown his potential will his team give him the support he deserves? Will Button be more consistant and not tail off in the 2nd half of the season? And, what about Schumacher? Don't discard him yet, that man was born to race.

There were 3 world champions on the podium at Abu Dhabi. 2008 Hamilton, 2009 Button and 2010 Vettel. Not seen that before either.

2011 will be interesting, return of KERS, new Pirelli tyres and adjustable rear wings will bring san interesting race, should also promote overtaking but we will see

as far as i know to there is a reduction in "aero" to which reduces downforce (aswell as a ban on double diffusers) which again will show natural talent IMO

I dont miss them as such, I like the idea of full tanks at the start

maybe they need to develop 2 stops mandatory or somethign or tyres that wont last a GP, that was it spices it up, not just pit during safety car on lap 2 to then finish the race on the tyre they put on early

Agreed, it is dull (and slightly surprising) that sometimes the tyres can last till the end of the race when some drivers make a penultimate lap pit stop just for the rules.

I just want them to bring back turbocharged engines and no traction control.... :D

Oh there's more than that. His tantrums at McLaren when they refused to scupper Hamiltons first season in F1, so he worked his hardest in destabilising the team, which ended up in Mclaren getting the biggest fine in F1 history for something that Alonso turned queens evidence but knew nothing about until much much later.

(Incidently, renault were also found with other teams details last summer but nothing happened)

Then of course there was crashgate, so Alonso could win at Renault, but he knew nothing about that either.

Then he's had toys out the cot this year, plus the team orders, that again Alonso knew nothing about...

Hum, a bit of a pattern.

Having said that, the guy who looks after my car used to be Alonsos mechanic at renault and won't have a word said against him. He is out there getting 110% from the car and getting results above what the car is capable of, which the mechanics like.

he maybe talented like people say but the above troubles seem to follow him around in F1, doesnt really surprise me than the teams with troubles have him driving at the time they are in trouble

I personally think F1 will be better without him
