F mount Sigma lens on Zf problem - solved :)

I just bought Sigma F mount 105mm 2.8 Macro lens and mounted it on my Zf with FTZii.
For some reason I cannot get 2.8 aperture. Its like stuck on max 5.6
Is there some kind of setting that I need to switch for that to work?

Might need a sigma upgrade. Contact them and ask. I know that some lenses need help to work in the Z mount.

I bought it from mpb. I'll look into how update firmware myself. Maybe can be done via camera.

You are absolutely right, 2.8 is achieved with certain distance.
So that means 1:1 macro cannot be done with 2.8 - which makes sense, even f16 has seriously shallow dof.
