Can the Ezy-Fold Softboxes be used on normal flash lights...ie Lencarta SmartFlash...? Obviously a bracket or something would be required...

what is the diameter of the reflector that comes with that head??
 
Not really.

I've just tried mine against a Lencarta Safari head. The metal bracket the softbox attaches to is far too close to the flash tube for my liking and there's nothing to solidly fix the bracket to nearby.

You'd be better off buying a cheap softbox that fits properly than trying to attach an EZ box and running the risk of damaging the flash head.

I've used mine, I hook it onto the front of the light and use that as the bracket, a bit of tape sometimes helps it stay on ;)
 
Been thinking about this more and am going to close the thread as I have decided to stay a strobie...maybe just buy some stuff new xmas...if I decide...but am moving towards investing in a portable background now...
