Hi,
I have to give this a try due to having a baby, it will help me use the camera more (at least once a week) as I wont be going out togging much. I will confess that I only found out about it around 4am this morning, so it's a photo I took last month but I hope to keep up with the 52week.

here is my take:

Nice idea, I like it. It works for me and I can't see anything wrong with it. Good luck with the next 51 weeks.
 
Brendan, to me that is a perfect way to encapsulate the theme, the hand positioning is also a really nice concept, good luck and congratulations on the baby and good luck with the other 51.

Ah you can't beat the classic hands in heart over baby bump given the B&W treatment. Certainly not an original idea but a well exposed, well positioned example that fits the theme well.

My only negative view is that the bump isn't that clear, and the creases in the top are a little distracting.
