Yes
I was wondering if anyone has used one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Fi-Card-Wireless-GB-Memory/dp/B000X27XDC

It's an SD card with a wireless card built it - it seems like the idea is that as soon as your camera is within range of your wireless network it automatically transmits all of the photos stored on the card, either to your home PC and/or a photo sharing website (all the major ones seem to be supported).

It looks pretty cool and I was just wondering if anyone has actually used one...

nice idea but

The Eye-Fi Card only transfers jpeg files. Nowhere in their advertisement does it list limit type of photo uploads. Althought the ad does not mislead it fails to completely inform. If I had know how it works I would not have purchased the card.

not good if you're shooting RAW

Hmmm ever tried transferring a large amount of data over a wireless ethernet connection?

I think it would be somewhat quicker to just stuff the card into a card reader... unless you were thinking of using it for tethered shooting on the cheap.

Actually the Nikon WT-1 and 3 work really well, and will transfer RAW as well as JPEG. Obviously of no benefit to the OP but just thought I would respond to the poist above.....

Yeah but those are for wireless tethered shooting, not filling up a flash card with 8gb of photos over a day then standing around twiddling your thumbs while it uploads - assuming of course you still have some battery left in your camera by that point during the day.

Assuming your wireless thing is 802.11g then its 54mb/s absolute maximum best case. A USB2 card reader should be somewhere around the 450mb/s mark. That is what I mean by painfully slow...

Oh and the card readers cost how much? They virtually give them away with the cards these days.
