Can anyone recommend a decent one to go for? My C: drive is moaning at me... This is to sit at home and does not need to be portable - 8GB and upwards id say.

Any one brand known for superior reliability? I don't need lighting speed just somewhere safe to hold files really.

I've had good results from my G Tech 4GB external drive.

GTech are now called SanDisk Professional I believe.

Western Digital. Had them for years and never had a problem. If you check on their web site you might find some refurbished at a good price - still with a years warranty

Thanks for the replys, yes i do mean TB not GB lol, Looks like any should do but a usb on the front is a must I think.

I use WD elements ones. Nice long cables, and never had any issues. Filled up three so far ;)
