The new hide arrived this afternoon

It's a much better design for me - I can stand up in it, and even get a wheelchair inside!!

I looks even more like a Dalek than the last one!

question is will the wildlife think they're on a bbc Dr who set and act up for you or take off scared of the dalek?

I really like the idea and if you have the time (which you have I believe) this is a must for getting close to the birds..

Once they get used to it in the garden they will be landing on the hood of the bloody lens..

Hi CT,

The inside of the tent is coated with a carbon black coating, which is completely no reflective. With the zips done up, and only the lens and a small bit of the interior showing, it's all but impossible to see anything inside. It's amazingly effective.

Seriously though that looks pretty good, I haven't had a chance to try out Exterminator I yet as still without a camera, although I'm still a bit concerned as to what the neigbours will think when they see me sitting out in the garden in it, but I am sure a hide must make a huge difference to getting better photo opportunities, and I am sure your much like myself in that you love the challenge of getting bird/wildlife shots and something like this can only increase the opportunities.

Can't wait to see the results.
