Not for my camera data, I just like to look up the exif data on posted images in the hope I may learn something.

Have you seen an image on here that does it?

Post the link and we can take a look at the exif of the image in question.

In the plugin i use within firefox it usually tells me shutter priority (semi auto) or similar.

No, not on my Canon 400D.
The "normal" program means that the camera is in "Program" mode (P)
I use Opanda Exif plug-in to veiw meta data, and yes you can learn alot from this info.:rules:

Check the EXIF data on my pic below as this was shot in Program mode.
