Bear with me as I am fairly new to digital photography , when I look at pictures posted on the forum there is often ref to the camera settings as seen in the exif data.
I know that the album software on my laptop shows all the exif data when I click on the thumbnail but how do people check what settings posters have used if they have not specifically posted the information.
I see reference made to " from the exif data " Q how can I access it. ?

Thanks.

There's a few different programs that will do it. Or there's an online one Here

This is what i use most. It won't work unless you have Mozzilla Firefox as your web browser though.

clicky here

Thanks for the information.

Downloaded Opanda and works fine but I have to export the photo to the program , is that correct . Couldn"t work out how to enable the right click facility as mentioned by Janice. , I take it that when it says no exif date , thats because the poster hasn"t included it ?

Sometimes using photoshop or other editing software will "strip" an image of its exif data. I'm not sure what determines whether or not it does this  Something to do with how you save the image.

the right click option should just be on by default if not if you open the software and then click on options there si a tick box that is labelled " enable internet explorer and shell right click integration" or something to that effect. enavle that and restart the computer

I downloaded it as soon as i saw Janice's post and it worked right click straight away.

If you use the 'save for web and other devices' action on Photoshop it will quite deliberately strip exif.

Just restarted the laptop and right click works fine now , thanks.:)
