Executive box for the footy anyone been, know what to expect?

So my birthday is coming up and my wee brother got in touch to see if I was coming over to catch a match. Don't get to go often these days only a handful of times a year. It's got very expensive by the time I pay for flights etc. although cheaper now with my wee brother living in Manchester and not also needing a hotel. On top of that though I also work pretty much every weekend but I always try to do a match around my birthday.

As we had left it a bit late couldn't get any tickets from the guy that who normally sorts us out so went online hunting for tickets but prices were a bit mental around £200 for a ticket in the stretty.

Then ping got a message from my wee brother with the booking confirmation for an Executive Box and a Happy Birthday message.

Have only ever been in a box at Windsor Park before and imagine a box at Old Trafford will be very different. The booking info doesn't give a huge lot of detail around what is included, just a meal and free drinks etc. Have emailed them for more info but was just wondering if anyone else had been in a box at Old Trafford or another premier league ground and have an idea of what its like.

Busting with excitement although wonder if it will be weird not being in the crowd as usual.

I've been to Blackburn Rovers a few times when they were in the Premier League.
The food was really good (Nigel Haworth was the chef) and plenty of free drinks.
Pre-match a curtain separated us from the crowd so that we could have a drink. Once the game starts and the curtain is open you are not allowed to drink.
Curtain closes again at half time and you can consume more pop.
We remained behind glass the whole time and they had a sound feed to hear the crowd.

I also went to Bolton when they were in the Premiership. Similar arrangement except they opened a sliding door during the match and you could sit out in a designated area next to the box. More of a game experience. Some idiot in our box ( a Blackburn supporter) started shouting and we were in an area surrounded by Bolton supporters so we received a lot of verbals.

Overall I enjoyed these, expecially as suppliers were paying!

Of course this is all some time ago so things may have changed.

Sounds great, something different anyway and a bit of an experience. Will only get the chance once so might as well make the most of it.
