These monitors come in the more expensive black finish and they are manufacturer boxed and brand new and not refurbished.

The specs on that page quote the maximum resolution as 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+)

Not a big deal for anyone that's just using it for photography but that's not quite full HD resolution is it?

The pros and cons of the Dell 2209wa have been well documented elsewhere. A big area of interest with this monitor and its eIPS panel comes from photographers concerned about image quality and colour accuracy of still images, but can’t afford an Eizo.

I've got a 2209WA and for the money it's a great monitor. And paid slightly more than £199

I don’t know, but you can give ‘em a ring on freephone 0800 073 3800 – They were very efficient when I spoke to them. Oh ... and my one arrived with all pixels perfect.

PC Buyit http://www.pcbuyit.co.uk/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=331 have it a £188 + VAT but does come with a 3 year warranty.
