I had an Amazon return that they arranged by using Evri and a "Parcelshop" dropoff.......I have had this before and the service was AOK, including that Amazon made the refund shortly after the drop-off.
However, even though I have received the refund I have been tracking the parcel and 'they' have to deliver it!
Copied and pasted the tracking report below. And yes I have seen the news reports that Evri were(?) having issues but that was approx 1 week ago.

As I recall from the news report, they also interviewed smaller business owners and personal customers and none too surprisingly they all said they would not use a supplier who used Evri .
