Joined the forum a few months back, just been lurking and taking in a bit of info.
Been interested in photography for a fair few years now, but I've never really looked into getting a proper camera untill recently.
I was happy with just my phone and crappy little HP point and shoot digi cam. But now i have realised that its just not cutting it, at all. so I've decided to venture into the world of SLR's.
Recently picked up a Cannon EOS 700 SLR off a friend for £30 with an external flash and some films, bargain i thought. And as I'm looking to do a basic photography course at college, it had to be bought as you need a film SLR to do it.
But for everyday use, its no good. I need something thats digital.
Which is what bought me to this site, in search of a DSLR for around £300
Any recommendations for a 1st camera around that price?
I'll stop blabbering now anyways
My Names Toby, I'm 21 and From Wolverhampton
My main interest is cars, which is what ill probably be taking most of my photos of.
And for the VW fans on here (guessing theres a few of you, as photography seems to go hand in hand with VW's haha) this is what I drive.
Hopefully I'll be around n about annoying you all with silly questions as soon as I've got myself a DSLR
