Hello everyone,

My main aim is to have the option of using 3 flashes in ETTL mode off camera and control the output levels via the AC3 device I bought. I`m a canon user with 1 x 580EX flash and 2 x Yongnuo 560 II flashes. The problem I have is the yongnuo flashes are manual only and do not offer ETTL capabilities (something I only found out after experimenting with the pocket wizards today).

So this has set me back a little as I only have one flash that can operate in ETTL mode where I can control everything from the camera. My question is do I need to invest in canon 430ex`s or 580ex`s to get what I want or is there a budget option that can do this please?

I`m just a little disappointed with myself for not researching this further. Don`t get me wrong, I can still use the wizards for all 3 flashes with all the reliability that they bring but I want the choice between manual and ETTL

Any response most appreciated
Thank you

Yes, there are numerous cheaper compatible options from Yongnuo and others. I forget the YN model numbers, they're always changing. Suggest post in the lighting forum.

YN 565 or there's a new ETTL 4 something. Search amazon for ETTL Yongnuo and you'll find them. (On the phone)
