I'm interested in getting hold of an ETTL cord for my Nissin Di622 flash but most I've looked at on eBay appear to list specific manufacturers (ie Canon).

Does anyone know if these are generic and will work OK with a Nissin flash.

I'm still not 100% sure if wireless triggers will work with the Mk1 Nissin so thought this would be a good simple way of getting the flash off camera.

Any help gratefully received.

Cords are generic by brand only. Any for Canon should be fine, with full E-TTL support just as if the flash was on the camera. Get a straight one for longer lengths (up to 10m) rather than coiled.

No problem with manual radio triggers, should work on any camera/flash, though those with wake-up facility are brand specific. E-TTL triggers are rather more complicated on the compatibility front.

Excellent, thanks Richard

I must admit trawling around I've only ever seen curly ones though :D
