Yes
I happened to be strolling through Cambridge yesterday and came across a girl holding some balloons.
I guess it was some kind of shoot as it was clearly set up. There were lot's of passers by stopping to take a few shots but only 1 or 2 people who seemed to be there as part of the shoot.
I took a few shots myself as I was passing by because it was a fabulous scene (I didn't linger though), but I was wondering what is the etiquette in this situation?
Is it frowned upon to take a shot at someone else's shoot?

Nah, fill yer boots.

It would be frowned upon (but not illegal) if you profited from them but I guess you won't be.

Public place and no-one asked you not to take photos

This was a shoot that a young lady called Alexandra Cameron was doing. You can find her on Flickr, and in the comments she mentions it was a busy part of Cambridge and that she was very aware of people talking photos. She a lovely girl, so probably didn't mind too much.

Thanks for the info Nick, perhaps I'll send her a message

Yeah, I really like her stuff. I think she runs workshops as well.

It's fortuitous that she was stood in front of those grey buildings too ;)

lol......unfortunate I'd say

but hell, what is PS for if it isn't to colour in a b/w background cocking a shot up..

:D
