Hello everyone!
Lately I've found myself very inspired by Brooke Shaden's work (http://www.flickr.com/photos/brookeshaden/) especially her very early work. As I'm coming up with a lot of unique ideas and stories that I'd like to shoot I'd also like to try to play around with her style of editing (still trying to find my 'artsitic voice' so to speak).
A few direct questions:
1) how can I use colour curves to get a similar effect?
2) If I need to hold something up in an image (say... book), but want it to be almost floating later on, how to I remve my hand? How do I use layers to overlap both myself sitting and 'floating' books?
3) How can I get the 'painted effect'?
I hope these aren't too vague. I've been trying to google and try a lot myself on photoshop (elements at the moment, soon to upgrade), but seem to be stuck!
Many thanks!
