OK, so have gone and purchased this beast, I have been covering equine events for several years now and wanted to extend the reach of my 70~200 f2.8 and gain a little more flexibility.
So I have a Manfrotto cx 055 pro 3 with a mh1300 652 head, will I benefit the move to a gimble and if so, what is my best option for static and moving targets.. thnx in advacnce

I didn't have a Gimble at first with mine and made do with my ball head for a month or two. A Gimble head definitely helped because it makes it easier to deal with the weight of the lens. It's balanced and easy to pan etc so can help smooth out the panning etc.

I went with a Benro GH2 which isn't the cheapest but isn't the price of a Wimberley either!
