Hello everyone

I am considering buying one of these, they work with the Husky series cartridges. How long can I still expect to be able to find these for sale?

Buying one of what, Anton??

An Epson printer...the R2880.

Epson's Ultra Chrome K3 ink is very popular and used by thousands of people on a range of printers.

I don't see it disappearing anytime soon.

I absolutely agree but I am simply not sure how many printers utilise the Husky series so I would hate to buy a "bargain printer" to find after a few months that cartridges are becoming unavailable or vulgarly expensive...

But then, I can still get cartridges for my Pixma IP 5000 although they were probably built in bigger numbers AND many other printers use the same cartridges...

Decisions decisions...

you can still get R2400 carts and I doubt they will discontinue them for a while.

I have this printer and have not hear anything to suggest that the inks will not continue. I had an extended warranty also and as such only use genuine inks. Absolutely superb printing quality up to A3+. Have never turned to printer off, just run a test print once every few weeks if I have not printed photographs. Bought from Calumet in Birmingham.
