Can I please have your thoughts on the epson photo printer -R3000. I would like to know approx how many photos can be printed with full set of inks. (only approx). I'm just thinking of its cheaper to print locally or outsource all my a4 printing needs.

Feedback on quality would also be appreciated.

I think your thinking about this the wrong way, If your only looking to reduce the costs of your printing needs then I doubt buying this printer will do that for you even if you get a ccs system fitted to reduce ink costs.
But what you will get is control over how the print looks, This printer is the start of a high-end line of machines that can produce fantastic prints but as with everything in life this comes at a cost.
I have it`s predecessor the R2880, I think the R3000 has larger ink tanks but the price difference is the same. For the R2880 you get approx 15 A3 prints per set of inks.

Thanks for the advise. Your right it's a combination of convenience, print control, productivity.

I've been looking at the Lynson inks and this will significantly reduce the quality. The print needs to be profiled but waiting on the results.

I purchased the printer and I am certainly very impressed with the print quality.
